An unexpected surprise from Her Majesty.
More than just beautiful features of our landscapes, food & shelter to wildlife, sturdy climbing frames and natural energy conservers, trees actually create breathable air for us sapiens ..call us tree huggers but we feel like sometimes thats an easy fact to forget- we literally couldn’t live without them.
Hana, from Brighton, is one of 10,000 members of the public who were picked to take part in a free tree project, in support of a landmark documentary ‘The Queens Green Planet’ (in which Queeny teamed up with David Attenborough to talk about their love for trees).
On October 15th, fifty thousand trees wiggled their way across the UK showing up in boxes containing 5 UK sourced & grown broadleaf trees - for people to plant as their own personal contribution to this project that is an initiative from the QCC (Queen’s Commonwealth Canopy) to raise awareness of the value of planting new forests…
“The care of the earth is our most ancient and most worthy, and after all our most pleasing responsibility.”
